Hi, I’m Chiara

I am a Sports Chiropractor and an Academic, currently lecturing at CQUniversity in Brisbane. I grew up in Melbourne and was lucky enough to come from a family of allied health and medical professionals, which inspired me to pursue this career.

I studied at RMIT University, graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic) and a Masters of Clinical Chiropractic, and completed extra study and training in sports medicine including a Masters in Strength and Human Performance through Parker University (USA), and the International Certification in Sports Chiropractic.

The first ten years of my career were spent working alongside my family in our clinics in metropolitan Melbourne and rural Victoria. Later, I was offered a role at Murdoch University which saw my husband and I move to Perth for several years. Now I am excited to be back on the east coast, in Brisbane, and working with the team at Glow Health Co.

My broad professional and clinical portfolio as a Fellow of Sports and Exercise Chiropractic includes working with elite athletes, celebrities and teams at events around Australia and overseas. In particular, I have worked for many years in soccer, netball, and ice hockey.

My passion is for anything regarding injury prevention, injury management and optimising athletic performance as well as improving health outcomes .

In private practice, as on the sporting field, I enjoy collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to deliver optimal patient-centred evidence-based care to patients from all walks of life.

Behind the scenes, I am fluent in Italian which I speak at home, and I love good food, travelling and anything that involves the sunshine or a beach!

I’m really looking forward to meeting and working with you and the community at Ascot!
