Meet Dr Caireen Du Plessis
Chiropractor
Hi, Iโm Dr Caireen
Hi, I'm Caireen! Like many of the people I care for, I wear a few different hats in life. I'm a mum to two beautiful little ones, a birth and postpartum doula, and a family chiropractor with a special interest in pregnancy, babies, and children.
I completed my chiropractic studies at RMIT University in Melbourne and, shortly after graduating, went on to obtain my DACCP (Diplomate of the Australian College of Chiropractic Paediatrics) through ChiroPaeds. My passion is supporting families through every stage of lifeโfrom pregnancy and newborn care to childhood, adulthood, and beyond.
My approach to chiropractic care is gentle, tailored, and centred around what works best for you. I primarily use Diversified techniques, including manual and drop-piece adjustments, alongside activator methods, blocks, and soft tissue techniques. I also offer dry needling for those who may benefit from an additional layer of muscle and movement support.
Alongside chiropractic care, I work as a birth and postpartum doula, supporting women throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early stages of motherhood. As a doula, I provide emotional support, evidence-based information, and guidance to help women feel informed, empowered, and confident throughout their journey. Whether you're planning a home birth or a hospital birth, my role is to support and advocate for you, helping create a positive and supported experience for both you and your growing family.
When I'm not caring for patients or supporting families, you'll usually find me enjoying one too many coffees, convincing my energetic border collie that possums are not a threat, or getting lost in a creative painting project.
I believe everyone deserves to feel supported, heard, and cared for, and I look forward to meeting you and being part of your health journey.
